The following was retrieved from a thread started at Bigfoot Forums (BFF) by Firefly, one of the BFF members. Several members of BFF have joined in the fun with Firefly to create an interesting beginning to what may turn into the next Bigfoot Novel! Click here to read the next few pages of the developing story! Below is Firefly's introductory post at BFF. Let's write our own Sasquatch novel.... Firefly Sep 12 2008, 09:21 PM Here's something new to keep us occupied.....Let’s write our own Sasquatch novel! How it works: Everyone posts and helps spin the yarn….. Everyone can contribute---you don’t have to be a “writer” or know all the “writing rules” in order to help with the story. Try to keep your post at no more than 25 sentences, however, you won’t be covered in peanut butter and fed to Bigfoot if you go over a few. No one is in charge of the plot—we take the story where we want it to go and it ends when we’re done or bored. Feel free to create new needful characters along the way. You can stay in the current “atmosphere” of the story or make your post dramatic, scary, comedic, etc. Express yourself, just be sure and follow BFF guidelines. If you have any questions feel free to pm me! I'll go first to get it started..... Skeeter Douglas awoke to the deep rumble of his coon dog’s growl. He sat up in bed and looked around.
“Maggie, what’s the matter,” he said, rubbing sleep from his eyes.
Maggie sat in sheer moonlight staring out the open window. Her fangs were bared and her hackles were standing on end.
