I am pleased to introduce to you "the ultimate online reference guide for all things squatchy."

A channel of the Bigfoot Information Project (BIP) which was started in 2004 by Brian Brown, the Squatchopedia defines itself as follows: "The Squatchopedia (SOP or "Sqwiki") - Launched in June 2007, (the Squatchopedia) is meant to be the ultimate repository of bigfoot-related information."

"Welcome to SQUATCHOPEDIA: The bigfoot wiki
The Squatchopedia's mission is to record all relevant information regarding the animal known as bigfoot. Think of it as the ultimate online reference guide for all things squatchy. That's what it wants to be. That's what we, the community of bigfoot enthusiasts, need. However, more important than size is accuracy. We're definitely going for quality over quantity here. When adding information to the Squatchopedia, please reference the source of that information whenever possible.
Also, and this is very important, the Squatchopedia must have a neutral point of view at all times. Squatchopedia content must always represent views fairly, proportionately and without bias. To present content in any other way would absolutely undermine the mission of this site and the Bigfoot Information Project. It would cease to be a valuable source of information. Here is an exhaustive overview of this principle and its rationale.
Undoubtedly, people and points of view you do not like or agree with will be present on this site. We will record it all: good, bad, and other. However, we are primarily concerned with facts and evidence here. Theories as to the supernatural or otherworldly origins of bigfoot will be recorded, but, since they cannot be measured, observed, or in any way proven (or disproven) they will primarily be relegated to the few articles needed to present their point of view.
Please visit the Squatchopedia section of the Bigfoot Forums if you have questions or comments. "
